P is for Poppies -
one of the blocks in the Gardener's Alphabet pattern:
Crabapple Hill pattern for quite a while now,
as I started it three years ago!
In my mind,
it was just last year that I started this wonderful quilt...
but I double-checked, and it really was three years ago.
Am I alone in this quilting-time warp thing?
Too many projects ongoing, just not enough stitching time.
So,
Weather-wise, it's too early for the poppy blooms...
but stitching-wise, it seems perfect timing!
Your stitching is beautiful and looks like a lot of fun. I'm kind of caught in that quilting time warp, too. A lot of days I go in my sewing room and wonder who (and when) I started all these projects. See you next week.
ReplyDeleteI have a couple Crabapple embroidery design patterns. Large designs that I just never find the time to stitch so I can understand why you are at the three year mark and still not done.
ReplyDeleteThat is why I give so many of my UFO's away. I don't know why some things take so much longer than others. Glad you didn't give this one away. It is beautiful. What a breath of spring. We had snow yesterday (6" inland) and today we are getting your rain. Thanks! Happy stitching.
