not lion & lamb

as in the April coming and going reference,
but, there is a tune,
with a lion in it,
that just keeps going
'round and 'round in my head
as I stitch on my applique.
It just took me a while to figure out what it was.

carrots and bunnines and blooms,
carrots and bunnines and blooms,
carrots and bunnines and blooms, oh my!!

Do you recognize the repetition and cadence?

as I finish stitching the last of the applique?

Carrots and bunnines and blooms, oh my!!!

as I skip stitch merrily

down the path of yellow brick

around the last block of applique...
